Blessed are those who forgive others and help others. God will forgive and help them.
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they will see God. (5:8)
Blessed are those who try to please God. They will understand Him.
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they will be called children of God. (5:9)
Blessed are those who try to make peace. People will learn more about God by watching the peacemakers.
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (5:10)
Blessed are those who are made fun of by others because they try to do what God asks. Heaven belongs to them.
Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. (5:11-12)
When you suffer greatly for your love of God. You will receive great happiness in Heaven.
